Schools - Families considering a move are likely to place two amenities at the top of their "most desirable features" list: exceptional schools and abundant nearby parks. Outstanding recreation and education are prominent features on the Anatolia landscape.

Anatolia is served by the Elk Grove Unified School District, California's eighth largest school district and one of the fastest growing school districts in the nation. Due to the rapid growth, the district must change school boundaries as new schools open.

To view the current boundaries and see which schools will serve Anatolia students, please visit the Elk Grove Unified School District web site or contact their Boundary Hotline at (916) 686-7755.

The Anatolia Master Plan has two sites devoted to new elementary schools to accommodate the region's growing family population. The first elementary school opened for the 2007-08 school year. The ultimate timing and construction of the second school will be determined by the EGUSD.

Parks - Anatolia families will enjoy a wide variety of recreational opportunities at any of the three neighborhood parks or one 20-acre community park to be built in the community. Living within close proximity to a neighborhood park will provide convenience that today's busy families need. The three neighborhood parks were all completed in 2007. The community park is currently in the design stage.
